“It was already the second tour purchased from this travel company and everything is still excellent. All the activities we expected have been provided in full. Very skilled and friendly driver for Aral Sea ride, good meals and cosy accomodation in the yurta camp. Also we asked for an additional service - the transfer from Nukus to Khiva - and it was also provided to us in very efficient manner. Yes, the roads are in bad condition but this is just the specific of this tour.”

10.Aral Sea One Day Trip from Nukus.

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 3 reviews · 1 day

Travel by private 4x4 from Nukus to Muynak and the Aral Sea shore. You’ll visit the ship cemetery, local museum, Ustyurt Plateau, nomad cemeteries, an abandoned Stalin-era settlement, and possibly Sudochye Lake. A long day, but one of Central Asia’s most unusual excursions.

“The day was good and our driver and guide was excellent. However, the company that we went with had not taken on board that we were doing the one day trip. When we arrived at the Yurt camp, they expected us to stay there. We should have arrived at lunchtime, not tea time. The driver then had to do the long drive back. They did try to put us under pressure to stay but that was not possible as we were travelling the next day. I would suggest that the company carefully checks. We were given the first day of the two day trip, rather than the one day trip.…”
